Particle Repositioning Manoeuvre (PRM) is a treatment for the most common cause of ear related dizziness: Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV). With this cause of dizziness you will be experiencing short-lived episodes of vertigo (intense dizziness). It is often described as a problem caused by crystals becoming misplaced in your inner ear. When you place your head into certain positions the crystals move causing the episodic dizziness.

The Particle Repositioning Treatment is a series of head positions while you are lying down. This moves the crystals into a different position in your inner ear which stops the dizziness. This treatment can be referred to as an Epley Manoeuvre.
